Installation notes
Thoroughly clean both the thermostat housing and thermostat from old gasket residue. Place the rubber gasket dry (without grease or oil) onto the thermostat. Check the correct orientation of the thermostat before fitting. Tighten the retaining bolts evenly according to specifications.
