Dodge WWII WC-series (1942-1945) with 230 ci engine, Dodge M37/M43 (1951-1968) with 230 ci engine, Dodge Power Wagon WDX/WM (1946-1968) with 218/230 ci engines. Also various civilian Dodge lorries and cars 1942-1960 with 23" flathead block. NOT for export engines with 25" block.
Installation notes
Remove old tube using special hammer tool via holes in the tube. Often corroded — check with magnet that all fragments are removed. Drive new tube in behind water pump opening. During engine overhaul always replace, even if old specimen still appears intact. Check free passage before installation.
Compatibility
ONLY for 23" block (23.5" length, 3¼" bore) — this is the USA specification for 201/218/230 ci engines. NOT compatible with 25" export blocks (25.5" length) as used in some export markets outside the USA. Different lengths — check block length before ordering.
