Complete oil filter housing assembly for GMC CCKW 352 and 353 lorries fitted with the GMC 270 engine. This is the Military Senior type oil filter, larger than the Junior type used on smaller vehicles. The system operates with replaceable filter elements and utilises the specific GM threaded-sleeve oil line connections characteristic of GMC lorries from the 1940s.

★ The Military Senior oil filter system was fitted as standard on the heavier WWII lorries such as the GMC CCKW 2½-ton and Chevrolet G506. The full-flow system forces oil under pressure through the replaceable filter element and returns the filtered oil via the timing cover to the lubrication system.
This part is intended for the restoration of historic military vehicles. Fitting, aligning, deburring or reworking is part of that work and is inherent to the nature of these goods. Dimensional variation also exists between original vehicles.
