The drag link connects the steering box (via the Pitman arm) to the steering arm on the knuckle. Check the taper fit of the ball joints during installation and torque the castle nuts to specification. Top up the steering box with SAE 90 gear oil after work.

This heavy-duty drag link is specific to 6x6 vehicles. Although stronger, the link is interchangeable in combination with the corresponding steering arm with 3/4-ton parts. Do not use on 4x4 vehicles without complete adaptation of the steering system.
