🛠️ Terms and Conditions – Jeep Parts Jef
By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions listed below.
Several provisions apply only to consumers (natural persons purchasing outside their trade or profession). Where this is the case, it is stated explicitly. Consumers may always rely on their mandatory statutory rights, even where these terms would go less far.
Our parts are intended for the restoration of historic military vehicles. Fitting and adjustment work is part of that process and is inherent to the nature of these goods. Installation requires technical knowledge of the vehicle. See articles 2.8 to 2.10.

Article 2 – General
2.1 "Customer" refers to any (potential) buyer of goods or services supplied by Jeep Parts Jef.
2.2 These terms are available on the website and will be sent by post upon request.
2.3 They apply to all offers, orders and agreements.
2.4 Deviations are valid only if agreed in writing.
2.5 If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
2.6 We may amend these terms. An order already placed is always governed by the terms in force at the time of the order.
2.7 Images are illustrative. Minor differences in execution, finish or colour are possible and do not in themselves constitute a defect.
2.8 Nature of the parts. We supply parts for the restoration of historic military vehicles. These are largely reproduction parts and new old stock, intended for vehicles that are decades old and that have been repaired, modified or assembled from various sources over the years.
2.9 These parts are not ready-to-fit products. Fitting, aligning, dressing, deburring or reworking may be required and is inherent to the nature of these goods. Dimensional variation also exists between original vehicles. The fact that a part requires such fitting and adjustment does not in itself constitute a defect within the meaning of article 7.
2.10 Installation requires technical knowledge of the vehicle concerned. We recommend that installation be carried out by, or under the guidance of, someone experienced in restoring these vehicles. If you are unsure whether a part suits your version, please contact us before purchase at info@willys.be.
Article 3 – Offers and agreement
3.1 Offers are binding, save in the event of an obvious error in price or description.
3.2 The agreement is concluded at the moment we confirm the order.
3.3 Our records serve as proof of order and payment, subject to evidence to the contrary.
Article 4 – Prices and payment
4.1 Prices for consumers include VAT and exclude shipping costs. Shipping costs are stated before the order is completed.
4.2 For intra-Community supplies to businesses holding a valid VAT number, VAT may be reverse-charged. Shipping costs remain subject to Belgian VAT.
4.3 Payment platform fees may be passed on where legally permitted.
4.4 Goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
4.5 In the event of late payment by a business, interest and fixed compensation are due by operation of law under the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002. In relation to consumers, the amounts and the prior notice of default set out in Book XIX of the Code of Economic Law apply.
Article 5 – Delivery
5.1 We deliver as promptly as possible, and no later than 30 calendar days after conclusion of the agreement, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
5.2 Stated delivery times are indicative.
5.3 If delivery is not made in time, the consumer may grant us an additional reasonable period. If that period also passes without delivery, the consumer may terminate the agreement and the amount paid will be refunded without delay.
5.4 Risk in transit. In sales to consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes only when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, takes physical possession of the goods. In sales to businesses, the goods travel at the buyer's risk.
5.5 Where a shipment is presumed lost, further steps can be taken once the carrier has completed its investigation. We observe the carrier's investigation periods, but this does not relieve us of our obligations under article 5.4.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
6.1 The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
6.2 The consumer notifies us before that period expires at info@willys.be, or by using the model withdrawal form.
6.3 After notification, the consumer has 14 days to return the goods.
6.4 Costs. The direct costs of return are borne by the consumer. We refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof of return.
6.5 The consumer may handle the goods as would be permitted in a shop. Any diminished value resulting from further use may be deducted.
6.6 Exceptions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Parts that have been machined, painted, welded, drilled or otherwise modified cannot be returned.
6.7 Return address: Jeep Parts Jef, Ambachtenlaan 19B, 3294 Molenstede, Belgium. Please include name, invoice number and date.
Article 7 – Legal guarantee and complaints
7.1 The consumer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery, in accordance with Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
7.2 A defect appearing within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
7.3 The consumer reports a defect within a reasonable period after discovery at info@willys.be.
7.4 Assessment. To assess a warranty claim, the part concerned must be returned so that we can examine it. If the part proves defective, we bear the return costs and provide repair, replacement or refund. If the part proves conforming, we return it to you.
7.5 The guarantee does not cover defects arising from improper installation, modification, normal wear, misuse, or use contrary to the purpose of the part.
7.6 In view of articles 2.8 to 2.10, the need for fitting, aligning or reworking does not constitute a defect. Nor is damage covered that arises during or as a result of installation itself, such as distortion, breakage through forcing, thread damage, or consequential damage to the vehicle or to other parts.
7.7 In relation to businesses, the guarantee period is six months from delivery, and visible defects must be reported within seven days of receipt.
Article 8 – Force majeure
8.1 We are not liable for delay or non-performance resulting from force majeure. If the force majeure lasts longer than 60 days, either party may terminate the agreement and amounts already paid will be refunded.
Article 9 – Liability
9.1 Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned, save in cases of intent, gross negligence, fraud, or damage arising from death or personal injury. Mandatory product liability provisions remain fully applicable.
9.2 The customer is responsible for the correct selection and installation of parts on the vehicle. Our technical information and documentation are provided in good faith and are indicative.
Article 10 – Communication and data
10.1 We are not liable for delays or failures in transmission by e-mail or internet, save for our own fault.
10.2 Personal data are processed in accordance with our privacy statement and the GDPR.
Article 11 – Applicable law and disputes
11.1 Belgian law applies to all agreements.
11.2 In disputes with a consumer, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction; the consumer may always bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
11.3 In disputes with a business, the courts of the Leuven district have jurisdiction.
11.4 Consumers may also contact the Belgian Consumer Ombudsman (www.consumentenombudsdienst.be) or the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
